These terms apply to your use of renderloria.online, including its guides and free tools. By using the site you accept them. Paid services are governed by the written quote and any agreement we sign with you, which take priority over these terms where they differ.
Information, not professional advice for your situation
The guides explain general techniques and cite their sources. They are not a review of your app and may not suit your code, users or business. Browser and framework behaviour changes; check the documentation for your versions before acting. Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice, including the notes on privacy law and sales tax.
The free tools
The tools are teaching and planning aids. The rendering pipeline visualizer uses fixed, assumed costs and does not measure any website. The budget planner and optimization planner produce estimates and generic plans from your inputs. They are provided as they are, without any promise of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, and you use their output at your own judgment.
Examples and sample numbers
Examples, dashboards and before-and-after panels on this site are illustrative and fictional unless stated otherwise. They do not describe real clients or their outcomes.
Intellectual property
The text, design, graphics and code of this site belong to Renderloria, except for third-party material that keeps its own licence, such as the open-source fonts we self-host and the mail library used by the contact form. Short quotations are welcome when they link back to the page they come from. Code samples in the guides may be used in your own projects without attribution.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the contact form, attempt to break or overload the site, scrape it in a way that harms its operation, or use it to send unlawful material.
Links to other sites
Links to documentation and other sources are there so our claims can be checked. What those sites publish, and how they treat your privacy, is up to them.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Renderloria is not liable for losses arising from use of the site, its guides or its tools, including decisions made from them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of your province.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your own province.
Changes
These terms can change; the line under the title records the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
